I found this baked oatmeal recipe on pinterest and it is so deliciously fantastic! I make it probably once a week now and almost everyone LOVES it. Parents have started asking for the recipe, so here is the link. I use cinnamon instead of five spice powder and leave out the orange zest.
YUMMY oatmeal.

I don't even cook and I'm excited about this. Question since I'm new at this - are old fashioned rolled oats the same as Quaker Oatmeal? :) I have no clue and don't want to buy the wrong thing.
Yes, it's the same. You just want to make sure you get the ones that are plain oats or rolled oats, not the ones that are quick cooking. It's like the difference between regular rice and Minute rice and it'll mess up the time and the amount of liquid you need.
You should totally make this, it's AWESOME. I always double the recipe and put it in a 13x9 pan.
I made it last week and it was super yummy! I thought there were a few too many chocolate chips, but I don't like things that are overly sweet. It was super easy to make too!
Oh yes, I forgot to say that. Usually when I double the recipe, I don't double the chocolate. I just throw in a few token chips most days, probably less than it calls for anyway. I've made it with butterscotch chips a few times as well and that's good too.
